General Liability for tower and telecom contractors
Bodily injury and property damage liability for tower and telecom operations

Overview
Commercial general liability for telecom contractors covers third-party bodily injury, property damage, and personal/advertising injury arising from your operations. For tower work, the critical issue is whether the policy excludes work at height - many standard GL forms contain height exclusions (often at 15, 25, or 50 feet) that effectively void coverage for the primary exposure.
Why it matters for tower work
Without GL that explicitly covers work at height, a tower crew has no third-party liability coverage for its primary operations. A height exclusion means no coverage for dropped objects, structural damage, or injury to third parties at the job site.
MSA relevance
Every turf vendor and tower owner MSA requires GL coverage, typically $1M/$2M occurrence/aggregate minimum. The policy must name the hiring party as additional insured and must not contain exclusions that would void coverage for the contracted work scope.
