Installation Floater

A specialized inland marine coverage that protects materials and equipment during the installation process until the work is accepted by the owner. For tower contractors, this covers antennas, coaxial cable, radio heads, and structural steel from the time it arrives on site through final acceptance testing. Without an installation floater, materials damaged during hoisting or mounting may fall into a coverage gap between the contractor's property policy and the tower owner's policy.
